Saturday 19th January

What a night of Basketball it was on ESPN yesterday with both Chicago and OKC taking their respective games in over time. We came out as a loser yesterday on the blog which was rather frustrating but we look to bounce back tonight!

Bulls @ Grizzlies, Under 173 points (2.20 at bet365)

I am quite suprised that the Grizzlies go in tonight as favourites after the Bulls and Grizzlies both being back to back. It does seem like Luol Deng is going to be out for a little while and therefore this obviously shifts the price accordingly. I believe that Jimmy Butler will now play most of his minutes and Jimmy is an excellent defender. With Zach Randolph also out for the Grizzlies (to the best of our knowledge) I can see a low scorer in this game tonight.

Prediction Bulls 85-83 Memphis

Warriors @ Hornets, Warriors +5 points, 1.95 (Youwin)

Stephen Curry could easily return tonight in this game and with that we are more than happy to take this spread on the road against a mixed Hornets team. The Warriors have a superior FG%, PPG, Rebounds and Assists per game and only concede on average 3 points more than Hornets. I do expect this to be a close encounter but I certainly don't see Hornets steam rolling the Warriors. If Curry is playing I would expect the Warriors to run out winners by around 5 points.

Bucks @ Trail Blazers, Over 196.5 points, 1.95

I would have expected this total line to be above 200 so 196 seems a definite back for overs. Both teams do not particularly soak up the clock too much and this should be a good thing for our over bet. Brandon Jennings should shoot well against a considerably weaker PG opponent and this should get Milwaukee over the 100 mark. I do probably still lean towards a Portland win but I can see this going over 200, so overs for us.

Wizards @ Clippers, Clippers -12.5 points 1.95 (Youwin)

Wizards are back to back tonight and Clippers have had a day's rest after getting an impressive win on the road at Minnesota. A Friday night atmosphere at the Staples should invigorate the Clippers to get the job done after a shock loss to Magic last week. If Chris Paul does come back to the team tonight I expect this to be a blow-out. Without  CP3 the Clippers have phenomenal depth and rotation and if they get off to a good start I can see the Wizards letting this game slip by, after a tough win last night but his inclusion could be pivotal

WITH THIS TIP I WOULD LEAVE IT UNTIL TEAMS ARE ANNOUNCED AND VIEW IF CP3 IS PLAYING. IF NOT THE SPREAD APPEARS A LEAVE

Additional tip is going to be Houston -4.5 points @ Timberwolves.
