The Suns at this point have pretty much given up on their season and the Nets are right in the mix of the eastern Conference play offs spots, vying for position with Knicks Bulls and Pacers for who is going to make the most desirable seed in the play offs. I expect Nets to play hard tonight, as well as being the superior team talent wise, and I think they should be able to cover the spread in this one tonight.
Spurs @ Rockets: Selection: Spurs -1 point 1.95 (2 unit bet) LOST
The Spurs have won 4 straight and they are in 1st place in the Western Conference with a 2.5 game lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tony Parker is back in the lineup and the San Antonio is 100% healthy for the first time in a few weeks.
In their last games the Spurs beat the Utah Jazz 104-97 and the Rockets battered the Cleveland Cavaliers 116-78.
The Rockets have lost all 3 match ups with the Spurs this season and we see no reason that this will not continue tonight. If the Rockets cannot contain the Spurs and keep them from scoring a large number of points (which they won't be able to do) then Rockets will have to put up huge numbers on the offensive end vs a great Spurs defence.
