A tough night!

After a very exciting start to the season we found that last night the results were not to be so kind!

Indiana Pacers looked lethargic and were cold in offense only shooting 59% FT. They lost in the end to a very weak Bobcats team, although Kemba Walker shows much promise.

Denver Nuggets again were extremely poor in offense which we know from last year (avg 105 points) is their major asset. A possible explanation for this is the opponents playing quite a strong paint defence forcing 3 point shots. Andre Iguodala has yet to settle and this all-star player is a key piece to this Nuggets offense. Orlando were stronger than we first expected but still look to back against the Magic this year.

Miami Heat quite frankly did not turn up last night and Dwayne Wade has yet to settle this year. NY Knicks shot an unbelievable 53% 3PT's with Melo Anthony particularly hot (we know from the Olympics this guy does not miss open 3's) and the infamous Steve Novak. A poor result for us and we expect Heat to bounce back quickly tonight.

Chicago Bulls did impress us last night and kept a 20+ points gap the whole way down against a weak Cavaliers team. It feels like if a point guard can keep Kyrene Irving quiet then Cavs really do struggle to ratchet up the points. Defensively Cavs were poor but once again Bulls had a stout defence.

Utah / NOH were strongly fancied by us to go over on the points looking at the previous stats and games however for some reason Jazz slowed their offense right down and this simply did not work to their advantage.

Clippers as expected beat the Lakers but unfortunately this was not capatilised enough by us. Lakers are really struggling at the moment and with no Nash the bench were shown up again. Kobe taking 40 points still was not enough and this team is being exposed for its lack of bench strength at the moment. I feel Dwight needs to step up a little bit more!

A tough night for us and which was both disappointing but a good learning experience. However we remain in profit for the year and hope that tonight with 10 more matches to pick from can get us a solid profit. Tips will be up around 10pm.
